CALLING ALL OENOPHILES - You won't want to miss this opportunity to dine with one of the most talented and respected winemakers of Spain. Join us on Tuesday, May 19 as Chef Rich Perez welcomes good friend Alberto Orte, co-founder of Olé & Obrigado.
A native son of the Andalucía region, Alberto Orte is a winemaker, wine grower, and a walking history book all in one. He has been featured in Eva Longoria's 'Searching For Spain' and New York Times wine critic Eric Asimov credits Alberto’s pioneering work in the recuperation and preservation of dozens of indigenous Spanish grape varieties. Alberto’s winemaking focuses on the continuance of a style that was popular in the first half of the 20th century, emphasizing freshness and minerality that leads to balanced, long-lived wines.
